Patterns

Hatch and Dots, the two textures behind Easel's brand.

Hatch

Hatch is an 8px diagonal hatch in the border color: the texture for nothing here yet. It fills empty states, missing images, and space waiting for content. fade runs it in from the top, as behind marketing visuals; HatchEmpty puts a sentence on it.

Dots

Dots is a quiet 10px grid in the border color, for the margins around a frame and open space on marketing pages. fade="edges" keeps it densest beside the content and gone at the sides, so a frame on top covers the middle.

Bright Dots

variant="bright" is the brand's loud moment: dense pale-blue dots over noise on a Geist blue surface, for calls to action. drift moves it slowly; reduced motion holds it still. Use one bright surface per page at most.
